Happy 4th! Time for a Pool Party.

What better way to celebrate the Fourth of July than with a pool party? Here's a round-up of some decorations, pool floats, outfits and accessories to fit the theme.

Decorating for a Fourth of July pool party is easy with so many party essentials now available in red, white and blue. Match some unbreakable wine glasses in a fresh blue shade with a stylish decorative platter for a relaxed, summery look.

You will want some activities to keep guests busy and happy. We think this snow cone station fits the bill - offer red and blue flavors and invite guests to make their own snow cones. Everyone will be taking pictures, so don’t hold back on the theme. Hang some seasonal paper decorations and have each guest wear a novelty July Fourth headband – at least for one picture! Throw in this inflatable Uncle Sam and a pair of Tommy Bahama beach chairs to complete the USA theme.

Now, what to wear? Summer temperatures call for swimwear separates and sandals. We love a bright red string bikini with a pair of espadrille wedge sandals for height. Accessorize with a pair of oversized sunglasses and a simple pair of 14k gold polished hoop earrings for an easy Fourth of July look. Pack a big, bright towel (round towels are having a major moment) and some day-to-night summer beauty essentials like a Supergoop sunscreen spray and a shimmering body oil from Bath and Body Works into an oversized striped tote bag and you’re ready for the pool.

It’s a given that most of the activity will be around the pool, so create ways for people to hang in the water by adding some large pool floats in matching colors. There are so many fun pool floats for adults around right now. We love this red, white and blue popsicle float matched with our own Loteli Heart Float.

We hope this little guide to throwing a Fourth of July pool party helps you make the most of this July 4th to create some beautiful summer memories!
